A Massive Gastric Trichobezoar In a Young Female, a Case Report

Trichobezoar is a rare condition caused by the accumulation of foreign material, specifically hair, into gastrointestinal tract. Underlying psychiatric disorders are common among patients diagnosed with bezoars. This most commonly associated trichophagia, trichotillomania might also be present. Typically, this disorder acquainted in adolescent females who complain alopecia, along an upper abdominal mass which cause gastric outlet obstruction. However, many cases Trichobezoars different ages, including infants, have been reported. In case report, 18-year-old female obstruction demonstrated.
